Symptoms
Symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea (often bloody). Some may develop a more severe infection - Hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a type of kidney failure marked by easy bruising, pallor, and decreased urine output. The condition can lead to serious kidney damage and even death.
