Aquaculture workers, fish handlers, laboratory personnel, and consumers exposed to contaminated fish or water containing Malachite green, especially with repeated or prolonged exposure.
Symptoms
Exposure may cause skin and eye irritation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea; prolonged or high exposure may lead to liver toxicity, breathing irritation, and potential carcinogenic effects.
