No illnesses have been reported yet. Two products are impacted with "best if used by" dates of 04/11/25 and 05APR26. Affected products were shipped to Publix distribution warehouses in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina and also to Dollar Tree distribution warehouses in South Carolina and Georgia.
Who's At Risk?
Pregnant women, young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. This is because Listeria is more likely to spread beyond their gut to other parts of their body, resulting in a severe condition known as invasive listeriosis.
Symptoms
Listeria infection can cause miscarriages, stillbirths, premature delivery, or life-threatening infection of the newborn in pregnant women. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
