104 people sick, 34 hospitalized & 1 dead across 14 states to date. McDonald’s stores in CO, KS, and WY, and portions of IA, ID, MO, MT, NE, NM, NV, OK, and UT have stopped using recalled slivered onions. At this time, there does not appear to be a continued food safety concern related to this outbreak at McDonald’s restaurants. Recalled onions were also distributed to other food service customers in CO, IA, ID, KS, MO, MT, NE, NM, NV, OK, UT, and WY. Investigation ongoing.
