No illnesses have been reported yet. Recall expanded to include 11 additional tuna salad products, marked with sell-thru dates from July 23–29, 2025, due to Listeria risk from contaminated breadcrumbs. Products were sold at Albertsons, Randalls, and Tom Thumb stores in 4 states.
Who's At Risk?
Pregnant women, young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. This is because Listeria is more likely to spread beyond their gut to other parts of their body, resulting in a severe condition known as invasive listeriosis.
Symptoms
Listeria infection can cause miscarriages, stillbirths, premature delivery, or life-threatening infection of the newborn in pregnant women. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. It can take up to 10 weeks for some people to have symptoms.
