7 people (mostly children) sick and 2 hospitalized across 3 states since 09/01/2025. 2 cheese products are linked but the firm declined to voluntarily remove the products from the market. Affected products were sold nationwide. Investigation is ongoing to determine if more products are linked. Do not eat, sell, or serve recalled products.
Who's At Risk?
Children under 5 years old, older adults and persons with weakened immune systems.
Symptoms
Symptoms include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever, nausea, and/or vomiting. Some infections can cause severe bloody diarrhea and lead to life-threatening conditions, such as a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), or the development of high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and neurologic problems.
