The strain matches a different 2025 outbreak - not the current one. Recent updates include a recall from RAW FARM on 04/02/2026 with a follow-up on 04/07/2026. Investigation is ongoing. Do not eat, sell, or serve recalled products.
Who's At Risk?
Children under 5 years old, older adults and persons with weakened immune systems.
Symptoms
Symptoms include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever, nausea, and/or vomiting. Some infections can cause severe bloody diarrhea and lead to life-threatening conditions, such as a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), or the development of high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and neurologic problems.
