34 people sick and 28 hospitalized across 4 states to date. The true number of sick people is likely higher, and this outbreak may not be limited to the states with known illnesses. Imported frozen clams are linked to the outbreak. La Serranita black shell meat products are recalled recently. Investigation is ongoing to identify additional source(s) of frozen clams. Do not eat, sell, or serve recalled products.
