Albertsons Companies has voluntarily recalled 11 store-prepared items containing Jif peanut butter due to possible salmonella contamination. Products were available for purchase at the following banners: Albertsons, Safeway, Lucky, among others.
Who's At Risk?
Salmonella mainly impacts young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Most healthy adults and children rarely become seriously ill after exposure to Salmonella.
Symptoms
